Modernized Kitchen & Dinning Room in a circa 1910 Twin

This is the kitchen that started Silver Bark Design. This project was a invaluable learning lesson in all the meticulous research, planning, sourcing, and details that go into a renovation. The design work on a renovation should happens well before the contractors start working.

From understanding best practices for functional cabinet and appliances placement to thinking through how design is informed by material limits to creating 3D models to visualize the final product. This project did it all. I also learned that the relationship between contractor and designer is as important as the relationship between designer and client. I was lucky to work with one of the best in the industry, Andrew Black.
